SmartSoftKey, Inc. also provides custom solutions for Digital Rights Management and protection of multimedia products or custom-made products from unauthorized use or piracy.

According to Dr. Prashanth Darba, founder, President and CEO of SmartSoftKey, Inc., SmartSoftKey's proprietary technology "is highly flexible and adaptable for a wide range of innovative products". The ASP line of products is the first of several products to be introduced by SmartSoftKey, which is a spin-off of the Madison-based high tech company, Spectrum Research, LLC., also founded by Dr. Prashanth Darba. The proprietary technology of the ASP suite of products has been effectively used by Spectrum Research to protect its NMR-based software tools for analytical informatics and chemical informatics consumers for the past seven years.
